Performance Compass
How do you respond when a staff member or colleague lets you down? Unfortunately, in many ministry settings the answer is, “I don’t respond.” The issue may be minor, such as being late to a meeting, or much more serious, such as not completing a major project. But regardless of how big it is, failing to address the problem will hinder your ministry’s effectiveness. So why don’t ministry leaders step up to address these issues? Because they’re not equipped to have performance redirection conversations. (My blog on “the hardest conversation” further addresses this challenge.)
PerformanceCompass is a highly effective, interactive training seminar in which participants learn the skills to have positive and productive conversations about performance issues. The course was originally developed by The RAD Group based on peer-reviewed and best practice research. It has now been customized for ministry and non-profit settings. Course highlights include:
- Practical, Skills-Based Instruction
- Customized Exercises and Practice Scenarios
- Original Training Videos
- Fast-Paced, Interactive Training
- Post-Training Reference Books & Reference Cards
PerformanceCompass is offered as either a full-day or half-day seminar. For more information or to schedule a PerformanceCompass seminar, check the “Staff Development” option on the contact page and write PerformanceCompass in the message box.
