Is it possible that there is a higher truth than your “truth”? What important facts might you not know that would change how you see the truth? How can you practice truth telling while also being open to new information that could change your perspective?
Are you gracious in your truth telling? Even if you are 100% correct in your understanding of the facts, your tone and body language may get in the way of an important message that you need to deliver. If you feel anger rising as you prepare to tell the truth, you may need to wait until later or allow someone else to be the truth teller.
